Cory Renee Koenig, 5, of Anchorage, died Feb. 19, 1995, at Providence Hospital. A funeral was at Faith Lutheran Church with a visitation. The Rev. James Oldfield officiated. Burial was at Angelus Memorial Park Cemetery.

Cory was born Sept. 7, 1989, in Anchorage. She was a member of and had been baptized at Faith Lutheran Church, where she attended Sunday school. Her family said: "Cory loved everyone unconditionally. She loved Jesus and Sunday school and praying and singing in children's choir. She was the sunshine in our lives, so full of life. She had a mind of her own. She was aptly named, as she was incorrigible. She loved playing outdoors all seasons, doing art work and music and dancing. She is now a sunbeam for Jesus."
