(nee Kropusek) Found peace on Monday, June 5, 2023. Age 85 years. Loving wife for 57 years of the late Richard W. VanderHyden. Proud mother of Cheryl (Richard), Cynthia (Anthony), Cathleen (Roger), Curtis (Deb) and Chad. Cherished grandmother of Jacob, Ryan, Jesse, Ericka (Atrim), Nathan, Samantha, Cody (Jamie) and Jackie. Fun great-grandmother of three Leo, Ava, and Adalyn. Sister of Randy (Karen). Aunt to Kerry and Kristi. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends. She is preceded in death by son Ricky and grandson Adam.

Sandy was a Cub Scout den mother as well as a neighborhood club member of homemakers. She loved to play cards and games with family and friends. She enjoyed to play Uno, 31, and bingo with her children and grandchildren.

Memorial Service will be held in private.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff of DaVita and Hickory Park Assisted Living for the great care she received.
