James Paul Womack, 60, of Hixson, died Thursday, Dec. 19, 2002, at the home of his daughter.
He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Covenant Free Will Baptist Church. He was a veteran and a member of the American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Barbara Womack; several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Charlie Sims of Hixson; son, James B. Womack and his fiancee, Jessica Jones, of Hixson; grandchildren, Nicole and Mathew Sims and Garrett Womack; brothers and sister-in-laws, W.R. (Doris) Womack, Allen (Lorene) Womack of Soddy-Daisy, Marvin (June) Womack of Florida; sisters and brother-in-law, Ethel Parker, Judy (Lonnie) Sunderland of Hixson and Louise Davis of Columbia, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Marcus Clagg officiating.
Interment will be next to his wife in Hamilton County Memorial Park.
Pallbearers are Tim Womack, John Curver, Brian Cunningham, Steve Neal, Tim Ivey and Justin Davis.
Arrangements are by Williamson and Sons Funeral Home.
