Services for MRS. LAURA MAE THORNBERRY of 3276 Allison, Memphis, Tennessee will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Spencer-Sturla Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Park.

Mrs. Thornberry, who was 88, died at 1:30 p.m. yesterday after a brief illness. She was born at Moscow, Tennessee, and had lived in Memphis about sixty years. She was a member of Germantown Methodist Church.

Mrs. Thornberry leaves three daughters, Mrs. J. C. Hollowell of the Allison address, Mrs. W. F. Reese of 768 Hudson, Memphis, Tennessee, and Mrs. Mildred Hill of 3241 Allison, Memphis, Tennessee; a half-sister, Mrs. Thomas (Wilsie) Spain Pomeroy of 1582 Netherwood, Memphis, Tennessee (Find-a-Grave memorial 13390016); twenty-three grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. ~~~ THE COMMERCIAL APPEAL, Memphis, TN, Mar. 20, 1966, page 28
