Mr. Thomas B. Abbott, aged 79 years, died of Bright's disease at the home of his son at Toney, Alabama, on Friday, December 31, 1920. He was a member of the Christian Church. During the war between the states he served on the side of the Confederates and was a valiant soldier. The remains were buried at Lebanon. He is survived by his wife, four sons, and three daughters -- W. J., J. W., E. B., and O. L. Abbott, Mrs. Nettie Brandon, Mrs. Connie Winsett, and Mrs. Sally B. McCurdy.
