He is survived by his wife, Myra Hurst Allen of the home, mother-in-law, Lora Hurst of Eden; brother Joe Henry Allen, Jr. and wife, Dorothy of Lynchburg, Va.; sister, Charlene Kelly and husband, Willie of Reidsville; sister-in-law, Geneva Allen of Eden; nephews, Steve, Mike and Greg Allen; nieces, Robin Hundley, Martha Carter and Angela Blanks; cousins, Sherwood and Reid King, and a special friend, Eddie Paschal.
