Peter T CHRISTOFFERSON (1859-1939) who was born in Denmark is my great-grandfather who came to Tampico, Whiteside County, IL in 1878 and then returned to Denmark for his wife Seni (1865-1891) to return to America on the sailing ship Suevia in 1888 to settle in Neenah, Winnebago County, WI. Peter and Seni had three children; Edward, Laura, Elmer. After Seni death Peter married my great-grandmother Marie JORGENSON (1872-1953) who had eight children; Walterman, Mortimer, my grand-mother Helga (1895-1986), Lilia, Gunner, Helen, Bernice, and John. The 1880 through 1930 United States Federal Census have recorded their names and address and arrival to the USA. Peter is buried at Oak Hill, Neenah, Winnebago County, WI after a long and filled life.
