Cincinnati Police Specialist Ronald Jeter was killed along with his partner, Officer Daniel Pope, while serving a felony warrant for domestic violence. On Friday night, December 5th the officers entered the first floor apartment of 20 year old Alonzo Davenport some time after 11:30. While in the apartment Davenport reached behind his back and retrieved his hidden revolver shooting both officers in the head. Davenport fled the 23 West Hollister apartment and was found just after midnight in Classen Park located about a block away dead from a self inflicted gunshot to the head.
