Darrell Alva Keim, the son of William Walter Keim and Lula Mabel Miller, was born on Aug. 24, 1913, at Davenport. He died Sept. 28, 1995, in Hebron at the age of 82.

He was baptized and confirmed in Christ's Lutheran Church.

He attended the Victory Rural School and Davenport High School and then for a short time attended college at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.

He was married to Doris Bower on Aug. 17,1935, at Davenport and to this union were born four children.

After the death of his father he became responsible for his farming operation where he remained involved all his
life.

He was an active member of Christ's Lutheran Church, Lions Club, Livestock Feeders Association and the Nebraska
Farmers Union.

Preceding him in death were his parents and one
great-grandson, Logan Werner.

He is survived by his wife Doris of Davenport; daughters, Dorothy Krogh and her husband John of Nora and Ardith Hoins and her husband Jerre of Davenport; two sons, Moyn and his wife Marcy of Salina, Kan. and Larry and his wife Marilyn of Davenport; one brother, Myron and his wife Kathryn of
Richmond, Va.; one sister, Wyona Hoyt of Culbertson; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, Debra and her
husband Robert Folkerts of Davenport and their children Kimberly and Jessica, Julie and her husband Todd Jensen and
their children Tyler, Kylie and Connor of Aurora, Carla and her husband Ray Werner and son Spencer of Hickman,
Stephanie and her husband Bill Hamel of Davenport, Kris and her husband Steve Riley and their children Kaitlyn and Travis of Odessa, Texas, Angela and her husband Kyle Svec of Hastings, Tammy and her husband Monte Trampe of Amherst, Cindy Hutchinson and her daughters Wendy and Meisha of Lin-
coln, Amy and her husband Kevin Wenske of Glenvil, Jeffry Hoins and his wife Janet and their children Brittany
and Garrett of Davenport, Justin Hoins of Davenport, Landon Keim of Lincoln and Ricky Keim of Davenport, other
relatives and friends.

Services were held on Sept. 30 from Christ's Lutheran Church in Davenport with Pastor Dennis Sylte officiating.

Music was by the men's quartet with Deb Johnson, organist.

Pallbearers were Jeffry Hoins, Justin Hoins, Ricky Keim, Landon Keim, Duane Miller and Jerry Keim.

Honorary bearers were Dean Wight, Harvey Lipker, Emil Pearson, Kenneth Buckles, Raymond Lang and Bob Stofer.

Interment was in the Davenport City Cemetery.

Memorials may go in care of family choice.
