Edith Pauline Keim, daughter of August and Anna
Harms Heinrichs, was born on a farm near Carleton, Neb.,
March 25,1905. She died Oct. 5 in the Madonna Care Home,
Lincoln, at the age of 81 years, 6 months and 10 days.

She attended Friedensau rural school northeast of Deshler and lived most of her life in the Davenport community with the exception of the last six years when she resided
in the Madonna Care Home.

May 18,1930, she was married to Robert Keim in the home of
her parents near Carleton.

She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Davenport.

Mrs. Keim was the owner and operator of the Davenport
Restaurant for many years. She also owned and operated the
Davenport Hotel for several years.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband,
Robert; three sisters, infant, Elsie, Ella Lillich and Emma
Nehrig; and two brothers, Art and Martin Heinrichs.

She is survived by a brother, Elmer "Bud" Heinrichs,
Davenport; a foster daughter and niece, Mrs. John Meyerhoff
(Delores), Lincoln; and many other relatives.

The funeral was Wednesday, Oct. 5, at 10 a.m., from Christ
Lutheran Church, Davenport, with Pastor Donald Hunzeker
officiating.

Burial was in the Davenport Cemetery.

Urbauer Funeral Home, Davenport, was in charge of the arrangements.
