Franklin Ludwig Sanner was born at Rockwood, Penn., Feb. 3,1828, and died at Hebron, Nebr., Oct. 31, 1911, at the ripe old age of 83 yrs. 8 mos. and 28 days.

He spent his boyhood at the place of his birth, where he was married Jan. 23, 1853 to Miss Mary P. Judy, to which union nine children were born—five boys aid four girls.

Two of the children and the wife and mother have preceded him to the great beyond.

Six of the remaining children were present to pay the last respect to a kind and loving father, one daughter was unable to be present.

Mr. Sanner became a member of the Reform Lutheran Church in his early manhood and lived a consistent Christian life to his death.

He came west in 1886 locating near Davenport, Nebr., upon a farm where he lived, until because of weakness, incident to old age, he came to make his home with his daughter, Mrs. M. Nagey, of this city.
His last illness was caused by a fall about a month ago.

All that loving hearts and hands could do to care for him, was done, until the end.

A short service was held at the home of his daughter, Mrs, Nagey, Friday morning, conducted by W, E. Brandenburg, pastor of the Christian Church, after which the family accompanied the remains to Davenport, Neb. his old home, where funeral services
were held in the Reform Lutheran Church.

Interment was made in the Davenport Cemetery.

Mrs. Nagey and family requested us to say in connection with the above that they were truly greatful to the friends who assisted in any way during the sickness and after the death of her father.
