Inez Lillian Sanner, the daughter of B. Frank Lowery and Clara I. Padgett, was born on July 13, 1906 at Davenport. She was one of six children born to her parents. She passed away on Apr. 30, 1997 at her home in Davenport at the age of 90 years, nine months and 17 days.

She was baptized on Nov. 18, 1919 in Davenport by Clayton Gall. She was united in marriage to Delbert Harry Sanner on Sept. 10, 1924 in Belleville, Kan. This union was blessed with five children, three boys and two girls. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Davenport.

Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother and four sisters. She is survived by her sons, Robert Sanner and his wife Lorna Mae of York, Harry Sanner and his wife Nelda of Davenport, and Dean Sanner of Lincoln; daughters, Doris Culbertson and her husband B.J., and Marilyn Keim and her husband Larry, all of Davenport; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 3, 1997 at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of Christ in Davenport with Leslie Leonard officiating. Music was "Beyond the Sunset", "In The Land of Fadeless Day", "Sunrise Tomorrow", with Craig Knispel as soloist.

Pallbearers were Harley Grone, Dennis Grone, Willard Hinds, Marvin Holtzen, Vern Corman, Jr., and Richard Swenson.

Interment was in the Davenport City Cemetery at Davenport.

In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to the Church of Christ, Davenport.

Urbauer-Price Funeral Home of Davenport was in charge of the arrangements.
