Luella Edna Baker, the daughter of Hermon and Emma Werner Baker, was born Sept. 4, 1893, on a farm near Meyersdale.Pa.
She taught eight years of country school in Somerset, Pa. before being married to William Frank Sanner on June 1, 1919. The couple resided at Davenport where their two
children, Nelda Irene and Betty Jane, were born.
Betty Jane died in her childhood during the 1930's. Mr. Sanner died in 1963.
After her husband's death Mrs. Sanner found employment
with the Portwood's Store in Davenport for 13 years.
In 1966 Luella was married to W. R. (Bud) Sanner, and moved
to Buhl, Idaho.
She was preceded in death by W. R. (Bud) Sanner, who died Feb. 10, 1983. After his death she returned to Nebraska to reside in the Superior Good Samaritan Center, which was her residence at the time of her death.
Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Richard Nelson
(Nelda), Superior; three grandchildren; six
great-grandchildren; three stepsons; six step-grandchildren; and nine step-great grandchildren.
The Rev. David Loeschen was the officiant at the service.
Williams Funeral Home of Superior was in charge of the
arrangements.
