"This is wrong, so many of our lives in the African-American community are being taken away by guns," said family friend, Marette Simpson.
Police questioned a 14-year-old boy from Penn Hills about the incident.
But he has not been charged, and officials say the shooting is believed to have been an accident.
However, the incident remains under investigation
