He belonged to the Church of Christ on Major Drive in Beaumont and was an avid traveler who thought nothing of taking off in his mobile home with his wife after his retirement; he traveled over 100,000 miles and visited most everywhere in the U.S.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Fenner; children, Wayne Eugene Fenner, Donna Williams and husband Alfred, Roy Lee Fenner and wife Michelle and David Fenner; brothers and sisters, Florence Fenner, Mildred Moran and Roy Fenner; grandchildren, Clint, Marshall, Jordin, Roger, Brandon, Katelyn, Alex, Shaun, Kacey and Brett.
