Robert Eugene Talbot, 80, died Thursday, Oct. 6, 2016, at Hospice House, Hutchinson.
He was born Dec. 9, 1935, in Hutchinson, the son of Lorin and Anna Mary (Raymond) Talbot.
He was raised in Haven and was a 1953 graduate of the high school. Robert had worked for Cessna/Eaton Corp. for 31 years, retiring as supervisor in 1992.
On Oct. 18, 1952, he married Jeannette Lorene Achey, in Haven. She survives.
Other survivors include: their children and spouses, Terry (Sue) of Sterling, Danny (Wanita) of Kingman, Tammy Scrogham (Cecil), Janice Sollenberger (Carl) and Debbie Casey (Gene), all of Hutchinson; 17 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and 11 great great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: his parents and sister, Erma Zrust and husband, Joe.
Cremation has taken place and at his request there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Hospice of Reno County, in care of Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
