Edna Jeanette Craig, 73, Claycomo, MO, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 1995. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday at the White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the D.W. Newcomer's Sons White Chapel Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army or the Kansas City Blind Association.

Mrs. Craig was born October 10, 1921, in Kansas City, MO. She was a Data Processor for Montgomery Wards until her retirement. She had been employed for 20 years. She was the past President of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 61 Jarchow-Schroeder, past President of the American Business Women's Associa - tion and Treasurer of the VFW

Post 5608 Auxillary. She had been the State Color Bearer for the American Legion State Convention. She was a Christian. She had held various off ices with the 40 & 8 Auxiliary and was a member of AARP.

She had been a resident of the Claycomo Village for over 50 years.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Georgia Lee Craig, on December 2, 1938. Survivors include her husband, George W. Craig, Sr., of the home; sons, George W. Craig, Jr, Liberty, MO, and Chauncey S. Craig, West Virginia; daughter, Adele Jeanette Lewis, Kansas City, MO; a special friend and neighbor, Donna Jean Perdue; brother, Gerald Duane Gray, West Virginia; sisters, Virginia Murray, Kansas City, MO, and Carol Huguenin, Olathe, KS; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, and very many special friends and relatives.
