Gordon Jay Chidester

JULY 16, 1938 – JANUARY 27, 2024

Gordon Jay Chidester, 85, passed away on January 27, 2024 in Kearns, Utah. He was born on July 16, 1938 in Dragerton, Utah to Dewey and Levina Hill Chidester. He married Patricia Sue Williams on December 28, 1957.

Dad was a friend to his kids as well as a father. He cherished Mom for over 65 years and beyond. He wanted nothing more than to be back with her, as well as for his friends and family to always be okay. He enjoyed the outdoors for most of his life and spent many hours wood-working in his shop. I can't say enough about Dad except he is now happy and will genuinely be missed by all who loved him.

"We Love You Dad"

Gordon is survived by his son, Gordon Jay Chidester, Jr. of Magna, Utah and his daughter, Jaylene (Richard) Stewart; Sister, Charlotte (Brent) Fleenor Fawcett; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Sue Williams Chidester; daughters, Valine Kay Chidester Kemple and Sherrie Ann Chidester Asay; parents, Dewey and Levina Chidester.
