Dianne died after a very valiant battle with cancer. Dianne was preceded in death by her father, Walter Katz; and stepfather, Alton Garner. Daughter of Lucile Garner.
Dianne served on the Board of Directors of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of New Mexico. In 2000, the New Mexico Women's Bar Association presented Dianne with the"Golden Hammer Award" for her meticulous building of the Habitat for Humanity House.
