Annie Frances Gennery was a British Home Child emigrated to Canada by Dr Barnardo Homes. On June 14, 1912, Annie and her sister, Alice, departed Liverpool aboard the Tunisian, arriving in Quebec on June 23, 1912. From there, Annie and Alice travelled with their travel party to Hazelbrae Home in Peterborough, Ontario.


Annie married Arnold Thomas Adams in 1929.


Her birth was registered in Camberwell which was historically in the county of Surrey, then London before being added to its current recognised location.
