Mrs. Biddie Ellen Lacrone-Mesnard was born April 28, 1862 near Watson, Illinois and at the age of eighteen she was married to B. F. MESNARD, Nov. 5, 1880. To this union were born seven children, five girls and two boys: O. C. MESNARD of Modesto, Calif.; Cora MESNARD who died at the age of two years; Lula E. DAVIS to Springfield, Colo.; Bessie GIRK of Forgan, Okla.; Jessie DuBOIS of Forgan, Okla.; Robert MESNARD of Oklahoma City and Grace MAY of Forgan. Besides her children she leaves twenty five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Also one brother an one sister are living: D. W. LACRONE of Norman, Okla. and Mrs. Cornelia SCOTT of Forgan. She was a faithful companion and a kind and loving mother, and her friends were numbered by acquaintances.

Mrs. MESNARD affiliated herself with the Rebekah and Eastern Star lodges.

In the year 1904 she was converted and joined the Missionary Baptist Church of Watson, Ill. When she came to Oklahoma she and her husband helped to organized the Forgan Baptist Church, and were charter members.

She departed this life, Dec. 25, 1931 at the age of 69 years, 7 months and 27 days.

She leaves a host of friends, a great number of relatives to mourn her departure, from out of this earthly life, but she has gone out in complete faith and hope in eternal life with God our Father. May God's richest blessings rest and abide with her now and forever. -contributed
