It is very likely that Absalom and his wife Susannah are not buried in St Charles. When C C Mattingly wrote his History of the Mattingly family, he states that Susannah died about 1836 and is buried in St Charles Cemetery so memorials for both are included in St Charles for the present. I have added this information on June 20, 2010 following a transfer of the memorials for Absalom and Susannah to me by Tammy, the memorial creator.
