Raffaele Tirino, age 84, of East Meadow, NY, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 11, 2024, surrounded by his loving wife and sons.

Raffaele is survived by his beloved wife, Teresa, and four cherished sons: Frank (Donna), Vincent (Anna), Anthony (Jessica), and Joey (Peter). He leaves behind a legacy of love through his nine grandchildren: Taylor, Gianna, Grace, Angela, Julianna, Gabby, Evie, Julian, and Valentina, and great-granddaughter Isabella. Additionally, he is survived by his five sisters, numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends.

Born and raised in Airola, Italy, Raffaele was one of nine children born to Francesco and Grazia Tirino. In 1958, he immigrated to the United States, where he later welcomed his parents and siblings. Returning briefly to Italy, he married the love of his life, Teresa. They settled in Brooklyn, NY, where Raffaele established himself in construction, eventually becoming a respected foreman for a prominent construction company. Even after retirement, he found joy in fishing, cooking, gardening, and most of all, spending cherished moments with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Above all else, Raffaele loved his family more than anything. Whether tending to the garden with Teresa, cheering on Italian soccer, enjoying holidays, or simply sharing Sunday dinners with his friends and family, his happiness was always greatest when surrounded by his loved ones.

He was loved so much and leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth that will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
