She was a devout Catholic, teaching Catechism for the Motor Mission Sisters in the public schools system, she was an avid Church Aid preparing the flowers and general maintanance/cleaning of her church, played the organ at Church Services and could also belt out a great tune on her own piano.
Grandma in the early days was keen golfer involved with Kiama Golf Club, she was also a conditioned Horse woman who could put most men to shame, as well as being handy with a gun , there was'nt much she could'nt do.
She died of Parkinsons disease and I still miss her today.
