Edward Lee Bain, 62, of Christiansburg, died at his home suddenly, Saturday, May 10, 2008. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Epperly, and a special aunt, Grace Akers. He is survived by his children, Victoria Bain, Allison Bain, Adam Bain and his wife, Jacqulin, all of Christiansburg, and Christine Henning, of Sacramento, Calif.; three grandchildren, Lyndsie Henning, Jackson Bain, and Katelyn Bain. He is also survived by his sisters and brother-in-law, Barbara Blankenship, and Carolyn and Ronnie Stump, all of Christiansburg; nieces, Rebekah and Amanda, the mother of their children, Angela Bain; special cousins, Leon Akers, Steve Akers, Janice Atkinson and Ken Epperly. Special companion, Deborah Main, of Christiansburg, and special friends, Martha and Jay Main, of Shawsville, also survive him. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 12, 2008 at The Horne Funeral Home. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2008 in The Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Steve Akers officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
