Mr. Billy Eugene Lovell, 72, died Tuesday, March 8, 2005 at his residence on North Main Street in Mt. Pleasant.
Funeral services for Mr. Lovell was conducted Saturday, March 12, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Vernon Brooks officiating and a masonic rites will be Friday evening, March 11, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens.
The Maury County native was the son of the late Willie T. and Bessie K. Pogue Lovell. He was the widower of Katherine Sims Lovell, who died in 1997. Mr. Lovell was currently Manager of the Mt. Pleasant Manor Apartments and a retired bricklayer for Local #5 in Nashville, Tennessee. He was a member of the Meriwether Masonic Lodge #192 in Hampshire. He attended the Beech Hill Church of Christ.
He is survived by two sons, Ricky Gene (Ina) Lovell Troy Lee (Donna) Lovell both of Mt. Pleasant; seven grandchildren, Janice Carol Lovell of Columbia, TN, Nicholas Kodi Lovell, Benjamin Austin Lovell, Ashley Victoria Lovell, Gracelen Alexis Lovell, Gary (Debbie) Gray and Sherry (Lee) Howell all of Mt. Pleasant, TN; three great-grandchildren, Patrick Gray, Brandon Howell and Makyla Howell all of Mt. Pleasant, TN.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Margaret Lovell and a brother, Raymond Lovell.
