Mya Angel Pepion, 3-year old daughter of Melissa White Hawk and Clinton Pepion of Browning, died of a gunshot wound Thursday May 8, 2008 in Browning. Her death is under investigation.
Mya was born March 15, 2005 in Browning to Melissa White Hawk and Clinton Pepion.
In addition to her parents, Mya is survived by a sister, Asiah Pepion; brothers Josiah Old Chief and Hezekiah Pepion her grandparents, Joann Old Chief, Joseph Old Chief Sr., and Antoine and Irene Pepion all of Browning.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Theola "Cupie" Old Chief, Margaret DeRoche, John Little Dog and Mildred and Willard Pepion; and her uncles, Sheldon Sam "JoJo" Old Chief and Mario Pepion.
Burial will be in Saint Michaels Cemetery in Browning.
