The family (excluding Catharine, Maria & Philip who were born in PA) immigrated to Pennsylvania in August 1730, on board the ship Thistle of Glasgow. They lived in Cocalico Twp. before settling in Heidelberg Twp. (now Schaefferstown), Lancaster County.
