NEW CARLISLE - Rose M. Rospierski, 83, of New Carlisle, IN, passed away Friday, May 9, 2008, in Porter Hospital.

She was a former member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 207. She worked for the South Bend Tribune for 25 years. She was an avid Bingo player.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Rospierski; a son, Richard Rospierski; two sisters, Lilly and Mary; and three brothers, Turk, Lawrence and Walter Niloff.

Survivors include three sons, Francis (Connie) Rospierski of South Carolina, Thomas (Dorothy) Rospierski of Hobart and Kenneth Rospierski of Florida; a daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Rospierski of Bridgman, MI; 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; a brother, George (Marty) Niloff of Florida; and three sisters, Alice, Julia and Adeline.

Friends may visit from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. today (Monday) in the Rendina Funeral Home, 5100 Cleveland St., Merrillville, IN.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Cremation to follow with burial of cremains at Calvary Cemetery.
