Services for Hans Peter Mansfeld, 89, were held July 24 at Kehl's Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel. Mr. Mansfeld died July 22 at his Anchorage residence.
Born May 1, 1897 in Berlin, Germany, he had lived in Anchorage the past 17 years and had worked as a laborer. He was in the German Air Force in World War II as a pilot. He leaves his wife, Erna, of Anchorage; his sons, Mike Mansfield and Gunter Czoske, both of Anchorage; his daughters, Ingeborge Mansfield and Marian Neuman, both of Anchorage; eight grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren.
