Enoch Jackson Adams, Resident of Old Joe

Enoch Jackson Adams, aged 78, of Old Joe died Sunday at Booneville. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Hutson in the old Galatia church yesterday afternoon.

Interment was in the Galatia cemetery with Roller Funeral home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Adams, a retired farmer, was born June 28, 1881 at Norfork and had spent his entire lifetime in Baxter county. He was a member of the Assembly of God church.

Survivors include two sons, W. E. Adams of Old Joe and Wilson Adams of Benton; eight daughters, Mrs. Hattie Whitfield, Old Joe, Mrs. Goldie Cunningham, Kansas City, Kans., Mrs. Lillie Nimmo, Huntsville, Tex., Mrs. Mildred Page, Mountain Home, Mrs. Earnestine Clark, Old Joe, Mrs. Jessie Lee Zorans, Iola, Kans., Mrs. Zora Lou Sledge, Wichita, Kans., and Mrs. Nettie Joe Whitaker, Calico Rock; 43 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren, and a brother, John Lackey of Mountain Home.
