RUPERT - Vaun O. Littleton, 88, Rupert, died Thursday, Sept. 10, 1992, at Minidoka Memorial Hospital, Rupert.

She was born Aug. 14, 1904, at Shenandoah, Iowa, the daughter of William W. and Maude E. Hyde. She attended schools in Iowa.

She married Claude Littleton on March 5, 1925, at Clarinda, Iowa. They moved to Twin Falls in 1944, to Jerome in 1945, and to Rupert in 1964 and has since resided there. Mr. Littleton preceded her in death in 1967.

She loved cooking and gardening.

She is survived by one daughter, Opal Bailey, Rupert; two sons, Nelson Littleton, Canyon County, Calif., and Ron Littleton, Phoenix, Ariz.; one sister, Pearl Pullen, Macedonia, Iowa; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, one daughter, two grandsons, two great-grandsons and her parents.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 14, at Hansen Mortuary Chapel, 710 6th S., Rupert, with David C. Coats officiating. Burial will be at 1 p.m. in Twin Falls Cemetery.

Friends may call at the mortuary Sunday afternoon and evening and prior to the services on Monday.
