Mrs. Mabel Ellen Kirkpatrick, 72, 629 Morningside Drive died of a brief illness Sunday morning at Magic Valley Memorial Hospital.

She was born Aug. 26, 1897, at Quincy, Ill., and came to Twin Falls from Idaho Falls in March, 1956. She came to Idaho from Iowa in 1935.

She was married to Charles O. Kirkpatrick Feb. 28, 1917, in Carbon County, Iowa. He died in July, 1957.

Surviving are three sons, Glenn Kirkpatrick, Farmington, N. M.; Lee Kirkpatrick, Las Vegas, Nev., and Keith Kirkpatrick, Idaho Falls; two daughters, Mrs. Ellen Schoolcraft, Shoshone, and Mrs. Opal Smith, Driggs; three brothers, Cecil Hyde, Jerome; Cleo Hyde, California and Bernard Hyde, Eugene, Ore.; three sisters, Mrs. Pearl Pullen, Macedonia, Iowa; Mrs. Florence Jones, Corning, Iowa, and Mrs. Vaughn Littleton, Rupert, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Reynolds Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the Twin Falls Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday at the Reynolds Funeral Chapel.
