Oran Neal Steinmetz

Hazelton - Oran Neal Steinmetz, 35, of Hazelton, died Friday in a farming accident at Hazelton.

Born Dec. 21, 1949, in Twin Falls, he lived all his life in Hazelton, attending Hazelton schools and graduating from Valley High School. He attended College of Southern Idaho for two years, and farmed at Hazelton.

He was a member of the LDS Church.

Surviving are: his mother, Martha Steinmetz of Hazelton; three brothers, Henry Steinmetz and Ruben Steinmetz, both of Hazelton and George Albert Steinmetz of Pocatello, a half-brother, John Shobe of Hazelton; and a half-sister, Irene Bertie of Phoenix. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Steinmetz.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park, with Bishop Even Kay Mecham officiating. The service arrangements are under the direction of White Mortuary of Twin Falls.
