SWAINCOTT - On December 28, 1894, Sarah E. Swaincott, daughter of William and the late Susanna Beach. The relatives and friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend the services, on Monday, December 31 at 2 o'clock at the residence of her husband, 2352 Turner street. Interment private.
Sarah was the mother of Howard Beach Swaincott (born Juy 7, 1891 by his WWII draft card), who died in 1965, and the wife of Howard Swaincott (the elder).
The 1900 census shows Andrew Swaincott, a widower, age 46, a cementer, raising sons William B (age 10) and Howard (8) at 1718 Stillman Street in Philadelphia. They have a boarder with them, 31 year old Jerry Beach, a paperhanger.
