Anna was the 2nd wife of Sherman Leslie Naftzger. They had 2 daughters, Athlene and Esther.

A brief prayer service for Mrs. Anna L. Naftzger, age 53, wife of Sherman L. Naftzger and a well known resident of River Park, will be held in the residence, 833 South 25th street at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon after which public services will be conducted in the River Park Methodist Episcopal church at 2:30 o'clock.
The Rev. H.V. Deale, the pastor and the Rev. Robert Ross-Shannon, who held the pastorate until a short time ago when he was assigned to Plymouth, Ind. will officiate, and burial will be in Riverview cemetery. Dr. E. Naftzger, noted evangelist and brother-in-law of Mrs. Naftzger, who was in the city at the time of her death, will probably assist with the services.
Mrs. Naftzger, who was a member of the Methodist Church and was prominent in the civic and religious life of the community, died Tuesday morning in Epworth hospital following an operation. She was a native of North Judson, Ind. where she was born March 17, 1875 and came to this city 18 years ago from that place following her marriage to Mr. Naftzger. In addition to her husband, two daughters, Athleen and Ester, at home; one stepson, George; one brother, A.T. Brown, of South Bend, and two sisters, Mrs J.H.Murphy and Mrs. R.E. Stevens of Hammond, Ind survive.
