Dorothy "Busa" Acuna, born to Mike and Clementine Busa in Navasota, Texas on January 24, 1938, was called home to her Heavenly Father on November 8, 2011 after a lengthy illness.

Proceeded in death by her late husband Wallace Acuna, first husband Alexander Hetmaniak, parents, and numerous brothers and sisters. She is survived by sisters Martha Hetmaniak and Helen Baranowski, children Joe and wife Angie, Pat and fiancée Dana, Rosalie and husband Dana, Brenda and husband John, Sandy and husband Tim, Shannon and fiancée Patricia, Kimbra Allen, Monica and husband Rey, twelve grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Dr. Carlos Araujo for his constant compassion and care through our mother's illness and to all of our extended family and dear friends for their continued love and support.

Mother, your endless love, strength and devotion to us all will live in our hearts forever. We love you Mom.
