Philip Gregory Braselton, 79, of Flowery Branch, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2024 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2024 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Phil Carpenter will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Tuesday, March 19th from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Philip Gregory Braselton was born April 10, 1944 in Hoschton, to Jake and Nelle Braselton. He graduated from South Hall High School in 1963. Phil was very strong in his work ethic having worked for his father and older brother Joe at North Georgia Bag Company. He also worked for the other family company Hatchery and Poultry Supply. He then was partners with his brothers in 4B Farms. He then finished his career with 42 years with A&L Welding Supply Company. Phil enjoyed showing quarter horses. One of Phil's greatest passions was hunting. He enjoyed two weeks out west deer hunting every year.

Phil believed very strongly in family. He was a loving brother, father, companion to partner Janice Hughes. But most of all he was pawpaw to Dylan and Mason.

Mr. Braselton was preceded in death by his parents, Jake and Nelle Braselton; sister, Sue Braselton O'Dell and brother, Joseph "Joe" Braselton.
