James "Jimmy" Hillary Todd, 84, of Cumberland County, passed away July 8, 2002. Funeral services were held July 11 at Rinnie Freewill Baptist Church, with burial in Rinnie Cemetery. Pastor Bradley Hatfield and Pastor Grover Atkinson officiated, with special music by Holly Hassler and the Rinnie Singers.
Mr. Todd was born Dec. 7, 1917, in Cumberland County, the son of Gerome Franklin and Laura Mae Ashburn Todd.
He was a member of Rinnie Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Bud and Blanche Todd of Kingston, TN; daughters and sons-in-law, Faye and Estes Stover, and Barbara and Allen Farley, all of Soddy-Daisy, TN, Judy and Eddie Whitehouse of Chattanooga, Jolynn and Lowell Pugh, and Joyce and Edgar Cox, all of Crossville; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Steve Turner, Randal Smith, Norman Beaty, Russell Beaty, Tim Stover and Bruce Farley.
Hood Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
