Funeral services for Wilma Easter Hinds, 67, of Hixson, TN, who passed away Oct. 18, 1998, were held Oct. 20 from Rinnie Baptist Church, with burial in Rinnie Cemetery. Bro. Ronnie Smith officiated.
She was born Oct. 21, 1930 in Fentress County, TN, the daughter of Elbert and Bonnie Boles Allred.
Mrs. Hinds was a cook in the Hamilton County School System, and she was a member of the Delashmitt Baptist Church in Hixson. She had resided in Hixson for the past 41 years.
Survivors include her husband, Eugene Hinds of Hixson; sons, Larry Hinds of Soddy-Daisy, TN, and Stanley Hinds of Knoxville; four grandchildren; sisters, Mary Garrett of Hanging Limb, TN, Betty Evans of Augusta, GA, Judy Stedam of the Rinnie community; and Sibbie Barnes of Rockwood, TN; and brothers, Clayton Allred, Lonnie Allred, Jim Allred and Tom Allred, all of Clarkrange, and Gradus Allred and Ervin Allred, both of the Rinnie community.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Johnny Allred.
Pallbearers were Joel Green, Daley Beaty, Todd Hinds, Mike Carraher, Kenny Allred, David Allred and Ed Wennerstrom.
