Mrs. Barker had attended Lakewood High School in Ohio and McDowell Adult Education Center in Columbus. She was a certified nurses's aid and a day care provider.
She was a room mother at Graham Creek Elementary School and a member of United Christian Church and the Women's Bible Study group. She enjoyed flowers.
The funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 29, at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home with the Revs. Damon Marling, Sherman Thomas and Tom Mobley officiating. Calling will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service. Burial will be at Coffee Creek Christian Cemetery near Paris Crossing.

Born May 3, 1975, in Norwalk, Ohio, Mrs. Barker was the daughter of Jeffrey Birchard and Debbie Thompson Birchard. She married Jonathan Barker Sept. 22, 2001, at United Christian Church.
She is survived by her husband; sons, Ki Roberts, Charlie Roberts and Jerry Roberts, all at home; her father of Akron, Ohio; her mother, Debbie VanMeter and step-father, Jerry VanMeter of Lakewood, Ohio; her grandfather, Charles Thompson of Lakewood; sisters, Jennifer McMillan of North Vernon and Aubrey Birchard of Lakewood; and a step-brother, Wesley VanMeter of Lakewood.
