He is survived by his mother, Adine Lenora McLain Rush; his wife, Stella Blanche Montgomery Rush; four young children, David Martin Jr, Earl Montgomery, Frances Leon, and Alice Blanche; three brothers, George Hubbard, Joseph Dallas, and William Redden Rush; and his sisters, Mary Eunice Rush, Maggie Duann Letson, and Lillian Adine Smith.
