Floyd Bernard Bendickson, Jr. was born on October 20, 1955, in Quinn, South Dakota, the son of Floyd and Berit (Ingebrigtsen) Bendickson. He grew up and went to school in Milesville and Philip, before graduating from Philip High School in 1974. After graduation, he joined the United States Air Force and received an honorable discharge.
He married Myrna Blom and they had two sons.
His son, Jeremiah, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his parents,one son,one sister and her husband and their sons and their families; two brothers and their families,an aunt, cousins,uncles.
He is also survived by a large family of aunts, uncles and cousins in Norway. Floyd, Jr. commented a lot on how he appreciated all of his friends in Fallon and the good times he had with them. He was also very appreciative of the people he worked for and worked with.
Private Graveside services will be held at a later date.
