Peter Anthony Musso, III, born June 25, 1959, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 1, 2023, at the age of 64 surrounded by family. Pete served his local community through his expertise in heating and air-conditioning. He loved his wife of 33 years, Cindy (38 years together), cruising on his Harley, fishing, and his beloved dogs, Layla and Abigail. Pete could often be caught reminiscing about his past pets, Rufus, Cajun, Jake, Harley, Rusty, and Dapple. Pete is survived by his wife and love of his life, Cindy Musso; children, Sean Guidry, Candace Musso, and Crystal Richard; grandchildren, Devon, Paige, Kyla, Jordyn, Jayden, Donovan, Jason, Demi, and Collin; six great-grandchildren; siblings, Charles Musso, Michael Woolfolk, Catherine Musso Manning, Christopher Musso, Susan Harms, Jennifer Henson, and Mary Lamb. Pete is preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Starnes; father, Peter Anthony Musso, Jr.; brothers, Claude Woolfolk, and Steven Musso; and sister-in-law, Patty Musso. Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, from 4pm to 7pm. Visitation will resume at Greenoaks on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, from 9am until the time of funeral services at 10am. Pete will be deeply missed by family and friends, but his memory will forever live on in our hearts. Rest in peace, Peter Anthony Musso, III.
