Dorothy M. Holopirek, 92
Mrs. Holopirek was born March 29, 1924, in Albert, Kansas, the daughter of Oliver "O. G." and Julia Crowell. She was a lifelong resident of La Crosse. She was a homemaker.
She married Edward Holopirek. He preceded her in death July 23, 1995.
Survivors include: her son in law, Kenny Basgall, Rush Center, Kansas; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her daughter, Doris Basgall (October 10, 2014); four brothers, John Crowell, James Crowell, Jeff Crowell, and Clarence Crowell; and four sisters, Edith Schneider, Myrtle Franz, Grace Crowell, and Pearl Mater.
Graveside service will be Saturday, March 4, 2017, at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Cross Cemetery, Timken, Kansas, with Brother Terry Warner officiating. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Timken, Kansas.
Memorials are suggested to Diversicare of Larned, Larned, Kansas.
