MINERAL WELLS - Opal Brunita Armstrong of Mineral Wells, a homemaker, died Thursday at a Mineral Wells nursing home. She was 87.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Central United Methodist Church in Mineral Wells, where she was a member. Burial will be in Woodland Park Cemetery in Mineral Wells. Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home in Mineral Wells is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Armstrong was born in Midlothian and had lived in Mineral Wells for many years. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge.
Survivors: Two daughters, Lucille Pilgrim of Mineral Wells and Thelia Houser of Dallas; son, Hubert Armstrong of Dallas; two sisters, Una Murray of Mineral Wells and Gladys Grimes of Tennessee; 15 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
