Ernest Eugene Gilbert, 79, died December 15, 1975. He was born in 1896 in Wadsworth, Ohio. He was the son of Leland D. Gilbert and Leora (Yockey) Gilbert.
He is survived by his wife, Alta Gilbert, one daughter, Jean L. Anger of Chippewa Lake, Ohio, five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
He was a retired orchardist.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel with interment in the Rockgate Cemetery, with the Rev. Sarah Payne officiating.
