Michael Roy Prudhomme

He was a native and lifelong resident of Sulphur, Louisiana.
He enjoyed fishing, making model airplanes, and playing practical jokes on family and friends.
Survivors include his children, Kevin Prudhomme and Wanda Crook, both of Sulphur, Ricky Black of Chapel Hill, Tennessee, James Black of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Carol Birdsong of Lewisburg, Tennessee, and Melissa Larabee of Albany Center, Vermont; his siblings, Alee Prudhomme of Houston, Texas, Ivy Prudhomme of Katy, Texas, Dale Prudhomme of Sulphur, Barbara Prudhomme of Florida, and Kathy Venable of Lake Charles; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Jo Ann Prudhomme; his father, L.E. Prudhomme; mother, Clara Prudhomme Gary; step-father, Amise Gary; a son, Christopher Prudhomme; and three brothers, David Prudhomme, Brian Prudhomme, and Larry Prudhomme.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. A rosary service will be held at 7 p.m.
A private burial will be held in Tennessee.
