Alice was the daughter of George W. and Margaret (Taylor) Perkins, who were born Newburyport, MA and Boston, MA respectfully. Her father worked as a Cooper or barrel maker and housed the family in Boston's North End. At the time of Alice's birth the family resided at 36 Prince St. and at the time of her death at 3 Cooper St.
Alice was eight years of age when she died of "Congestion of brain." Her burial was in Tomb 103 in the "Old Ground" at Copp's Hill Burying Ground in Boston's North End.
