AIKEN, S.C. - Mr. Albert Wiley Kitchings, 93, of Aiken, died Saturday March 6,2004 at Edgefield County Hospital. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home with Reverends J. B. Redd and Curt Edison officiating. Internment will follow in Darien Baptist Church Cemetery. A native of Aiken County, Mr. Kitchings was the son of the late D. W. and Bertha Redd Kitchings. He was married to Elise Grice Kitchings. Mr. Kitchings was a retired farmer. Survivors include his wife, a stepson, J. L. Eidson of Greenwood; one sister, Margaret Attaway of Warrenville, three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Wiley Kitchings, Johnny Kitchings, Jimmy Kitchings, Chris Kitchings, Wallace Kitchings and Billy Gainey. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home. Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home, 715 East Pine Log, Aiken.
